Growing your business by saying no?
A common theme of coaching sessions with small business owners is about handling overwhelm. ‘I am so busy I don’t have time to do the things I know I should, so how do I know what new things to do and what not to do?’
I came across this simple quote today. What a great inspiration.
What if all the new opportunities that came your way you assessed using this simple quote. If not ‘Hell yeah’ (or to be a bit more British ‘Oh wow, yes please!’) then calmly say no.
Can your business really grow well if you say yes to every new opportunity? By well I mean sustainably, making sure that you are not spread too thinly, making sure you can continue to give great customer service and focus. On a business and personal level, keeping this balance right is vital.
I am going to apply this simple assessment to everything I do today.
